Collaborating Towards a Net Zero Future: The UKGBC Net Zero Solutions Forum

Net Zero Solutions Forum

Net Zero Solutions Forum

The Net Zero Solutions Forum is a space where organisations from across the built environment can come together to share learnings and experiences on the pathway to net zero carbon. Providing a space for industry-wide collaboration, allowing net zero solutions to be scaled effectively through collective efforts.

The initiative brings together a diverse range of stakeholders from across the building value chain, creating an environment that fosters cross-sector thinking and drives progress.

The forums are led by members of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) and utilise the influence of the organisation to bring stakeholders together so that members can work on their key challenges alongside other motivated parties.

The forum has four topics as its focus: Organisational Commitments (Race to Zero, World GBC etc), Retrofit, Finance + Value, and Whole Life Carbon implementation.

When are the Events and How to Register

The forums take place roughly every six weeks and alternate between in person and online events. The full list of upcoming events is below:

For those interested in participating in the next meeting on the 2nd of August, registration is available through the event page: Net Zero Solutions Forum Online.

This particular session will conduct a deep dive into a prefabricated construction project with RSHP (Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners). Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the key solutions and challenges in implementing prefabricated versus traditional construction methods in achieving net zero ambitions.

By fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and cross-sector thinking, this forum paves the way for the industry to scale net zero solutions and drive significant positive change. Together, these organizations are taking concrete steps towards a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
